SSC Napoli
A high stakes match taking place north of Milan, in the scenery Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia – and it is again all about the Champions League! If Napoli wins, the Partenopei will have their seat in next season’s Champions League secured with three matches still outstanding. Como, currently fifth-placed, is sitting three points short of a seat that would allow them to join Napoli to represent Italy next season in the CL. Como qualifying for the CL would be another one of these football fairytales: from Serie C (third division) to CL in 5 years...
But Napoli won’t be travelling all the way from the Vesuvio down south to Lago di Como up north and willingly hand over those three points.
Regarding the teams’ recent performance: neither can show to be on a terrific run. Como just ended a win-less streak of four games last weekend, and Napoli recovered at the same time with a win from the most disappointing performance in the whole season as they lost two weeks ago against Lazio Rome.

Next stop: Old Trafford! Only hearing those names shall already suffice to make any football fan’s heart beat faster. Two heavyweights of English football, with legendary players on their rosters all throughout their history. Two teams that have played matches, every football fan will remember forever. Unforgettable ManU’s win over Bayern in the CL final in 1999, or LFC’s wondrous recovery from a 3:0 down against AC Milan in the CL final in 2004.
A lot of history, a lot of love for the game – the stakes: well, nah... both teams can almost safely plan for next season’s CL.

Real Madrid
Lastly, we stop in Barcelona! And what a precarious situation Espanyol finds itself in: if they win, they would be the kingmakers for their local rival FC Barcelona!
But of course a win is a win, especially for proud Catalans against the royals from Madrid – and even more so as Espanyol is finding itself in a horrible no-win streak: the Catalans have now been waiting for 16 (!) games for a win ... and thus among a plethora of teams fighting to stay in La Liga next season!
