This weekend it is again the Premier League and Serie A that await us with two blockbuster games!
🏴 The Premier League
On Sunday, it’s another London derby: FC Arsenal @ Chelsea FC! And what a derby! Six points are currently separating the first-placed Gunners from second-placed Chelsea.
FC Chelseavs.
FC Arsenal
Remember last week, when Arsenal’s forwards were given more than a 30% chance to score at least one goal against Tottenham? These odds have clearly changed! The whole roster is tightly clustered around a 75% probability to not score a single goal! This stands in contrast to Chelsea’s top scorers.
Median Probability of scoring at least one goal:
- Joao Pedro – FC Chelsea: ~ 33%.
- Pedro Neto – FC Chelsea: ~ 30%.
🇮🇹 Serie A
In Italy, it is almost the same constellation. Il Capitale is taking center stage on Sunday, when first-placed AS Roma hosts third-placed SSC Napoli. Only two points are separating the two!
AS Romavs.
SSC Napoli
Prospects of the reigning champion taking over the place at the top of the table are rather muted according to the SFM. With Romelu Lukaku still being sidelined, it is only Rasmus Hoejlund standing out.
The odds are clearly tilted towards the Giallorossi. Evan Ferguson is given the highest chance of scoring – despite him not being Roma’s top scorer!
Median Probability of scoring at least one goal:
- Rasmus Hoejlund – SSC Napoli: ~ 25%.
- Evan Ferguson – AS Roma: ~ 33%.
- Matias Soulé – AS Roma: ~ 33%.
- Artem Dovbyk – AS Roma: ~ 30%.
